According to the Japanese manufacturer, the PMC Edition was inspired by “the unique capabilities of its Ohio-based Performance Manufacturing Center (PMC). We intend to explore other options.”
The TLX PMC Edition, which will take the TLX flagship spot in the TLX lineup of vehicles, will be distinguished by its Valencia Red Pearl paint with Nano-pigment technology – Acura’s “highest quality, most vibrant paint” – and it takes five days to complete the painting and inspection.
The PMC Edition is built by hand starting with the delivery of the body to Marysville Auto Plant. It is then painted. The car is then assembled by technicians manually, starting with the chassis and powertrain and moving on to the interior, which has a serial number plaque at the center console.
The TLX PMC Edition, which combines the TLX Advance Package with the A-Spec sporty model, is the equipment. The sedan comes standard with 19-inch wheels. It also has Milano leather seats with Alcantara inserts in the cabin. The package includes a leather-wrapped steering column, two black chrome exhaust finishers measuring four inches each, gloss black door handles and roof panels, as well as premium floor mats.
