This carriage is pulled by over 700 horses. It sounds great!
Karl Benz was the first person to create and build the Benz Patent Motorwagen. Before that, people used horses to transport them from one place to another. Americans refer to them as buggies and horses. They come in different sizes and shapes, some with two wheels, others with four. They were first used in the 18th century.
Despite all the variations, most carriages were equipped with narrow wheels and spokes. Although these wheels could carry the entire weight of the carriage as well as its passengers, they were not strong enough to support heavier vehicles.
WhistlinDiesel is back with his fascination for strange wheel configurations. He was the one who created the GMC Sierra on square wheels and the Chevy Chevy Silverado on large wheel spacers.
WhistlinDiesel uploaded his latest upload. He equipped his Dodge Challenger with buggy tires. The wheels are made from aluminum and spacers were welded to attach them to the axles.
Carriages of old were often drawn by two horses. This carriage is pulled by over 700 horses with all the power going to the rear wheels.
The look was not the best. You could see the amusement and shock from the people as he drove the very red muscle car around town. He was lucky to escape arrest, as the set-up wasn’t safe, especially considering the poor road traction.
However, a YouTube video featuring a Challenger with no burnouts is not a YouTube video. It was obvious that the YouTuber tried it. But, can it work? The quick answer is yes. But for how long and how? You can see the embedded video at the top of this page.
