Try it and see if you are moved by the Chevy one.
Many automakers have launched themed videos that feature their vehicles to celebrate Christmas. Each automaker takes the idea in their own way. Audi boasts a very fashionable Santa Claus. BMW’s headquarters has a well-known actor. Chevy tries to make people cry and Lamborghini presents a child with an incredible present.
Audi
Audi chooses to go with the traditional theme of Santa getting a new sleigh. The advertisement begins with a handsome man in a suit gazing out of a window. A second guy approaches and tells him that everything is ready. They can access a huge garage through an eye scanner that looks like something out of the Christopher Nolan Batman movies.
Santa’s new ride? A red Audi RS E-Tron GT. The presents are in his back. We see that the reindeer have now settled down in the woods as he departs.
BMW
BMW hires stars to help it in its commercial. The video begins with Christoph Waltz, an actor, arriving at BMW’s Munich headquarters. However, he doesn’t want the Christmas party to take place. As Waltz attempts to avoid the escort that will take him to the party, he gets chased through the building. Supercar Blondie is even spotted by Waltz, and he interrupts her to make a video.
Waltz eventually stumbles upon the party. Waltz doesn’t seem to be having a great time. He is happy to be escorted home by a red BMW IX.
Chevrolet
Chevrolet hires Academy Award-winning Director Tom Hooper, and Academy Award-winning Director of Photography Claudio Miranda to create the touching ad. The 1966 Chevy Impala convertible is restored by a daughter who gives it to her father as Christmas gifts.
Lamborghini
Lamborghini’s video makes one jealous of a child. The story begins with a Christmas celebration. The child opens his presents and receives a skateboard, and a guitar. The third gift is a remote control and a note telling him to open the window.
The driveway has a satin-red Lamborghini Huracan. The kid can use the remote control to drive the car. The clip ends with an unexpected revelation: the car is actually being driven by someone other than the child. The man takes the boy for a ride. This looks like a great way to spend Christmas.
