The Audi ABT-tuned Audi produces 510 horsepower.
ABT, the German aftermarket tuning firm that is well-known for giving Audi and VW more power, has relaunched the Audi SQ7. This package increases horsepower and torque, while also allowing owners to swap out stock spinners with aftermarket ones.
The most important upgrade ABT made to the diesel-powered SQ7 is under the hood. ABT achieves this by using its engine control unit, which takes the diesel V8’s 435 horsepower (320-kilowatts) to 510 HP (380 kW). Torque is also up from 664 lb-ft (900 Newton-meters), to 715lb-ft (970Nm), an already impressive increase. Although ABT does not say how this increased output will affect performance, it should be noticeable when you hit the accelerator. ABT Sound Control can also be used on models with the factory-fitted active audio system.
ABT also offers matching ABT wheels in three variants to match the power under the hood. The Sport GR wheel comes in matte or glossy black, while the HR Aero wheel comes in dark smoke. The HR-F wheel comes in shadow silver. ABT is developing an aerodynamic widebody kit, which will be available for order in the next year. ABT will offer interior accessories such as an illuminated logo or ABT door entry lighting.
The Audi SQ7 is a great SUV for diesel engines. ABT’s simple tune allows for even greater torque and performance. The SUV’s unique wheels are stylish and the SQ7 will soon have a wider body kit.
