Brie Larson introduces “The New Nissan” in March Madness Ad

NCAA’s March Madness is coming to an end, with the Men’s Final Four set to compete this weekend. Nissan is an official NCAA partner and debuts its “Thrill” campaign during the sporting event. It features a brand new commercial called “The New Nissan.”

Brie Larson is back to continue her multi-year relationship with Nissan. Larson first worked for Nissan last year in an ad for its new-generation Nissan Sentra. Larson was featured in another advertisement for the 2021 Nissan Rogue.

Larson shows five Nissan models this time, beginning with the Datsun 240Z. The Z Proto, which is the latest Z car she drives, is then followed by a lively drive.

The newly-unveiled Nissan Frontier and the Rogue crossover, Leaf, and Leaf EV are all part of a Nissan commercial. Although the Nissan Patrol Nismo did not make an appearance, it is to be expected as this was an Armada’s global debut.

“At Nissan we want to thrill people everywhere and we’re thrilled to show this with our completely refurbished product lineup,” stated Allyson Witherspoon (Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, Nissan U.S.). “We’ve worked with Brie for over a year and she certainly brings the spirit and message to life with this latest campaign.

The New Nissan ad clearly references the fact that Nissan has produced 10 new cars in 20 months and is now showcasing the refreshed lineup in the US. Although the Z car is still in development, the Z prototype should provide a preview.
