Bugatti EB 112 For Sale Is A Very Rare Opportunity

One of three prototypes.

Each Bugatti that’s on the used car marketplace is reason enough to celebrate. We are delighted to share this Bugatti, currently on sale at Schaltkulisse in Germany, with you. This is the second prototype of the extremely rare EB 112 series.

Bugatti was not the first French supercar manufacturer to join the Volkswagen Group. Romano Artioli owned the French supercar maker and asked Giorgetto Giugiaro for a four-door model that incorporated elements from the brand’s rich history. It was displayed at the EB 112 exhibition.

Geneva Motor Show 1993 Due to financial instability, Bugatti only produced three examples of its super sedan. All of them are considered prototypes. Pininfarina built the first car and Bugatti wanted to assemble them at Campogalliano. The Monaco Racing Team finished the prototypes after VAG bought the company. This particular prototype was delivered to a Swiss Bugatti dealer.

The EB 112 chassis #39002 has 2,423 miles (3900 km) and appears to be in perfect condition. The car was ordered originally on the 27th April 1993. It was delivered almost seven years later in February 2000. This was due to Bugatti’s unstable 1990s situation. It is believed that it has only had one owner to date. The company that sells it claims everything is functional.

The EB 112’s V12 engine is a 6.0-liter V12 that produces 450 horsepower (335 kilowatts). This engine can travel 0-60 mph (0-100 km/h) in just 4.3 seconds. The 12-cylinder engine was coupled to a small five-speed manual gearbox.
