Bugatti Showcased An EV at CES, And No One Noticed

It’s not Bugatti’s original design and is a 19-mph scooter.

CES saw some very impressive new technologies and concepts make their debuts. The BMW color-changing iX and the Turkey-designed liftback are just a few of these. It turned out Bugatti also attended the show with a fully electric vehicle. It’s not what you had hoped for.

Rimac is now the owner of . Bytech International has collaborated with to create an all-electric folding scooter for everyday use. The scooter is available in three colors: Agile Blue, Silver and Black. It weighs only 35 pounds (15.9 kgs) and is powered with a 700-watt motor.

Bugatti describes the scooter’s design as aerodynamic and functional. The lightweight, magnesium alloy frame houses the battery pack, which can be easily removed and stored in a removable, portable compartment. The scooter can travel up to 22 miles with one charge and can reach speeds of up 18.5 miles an hour. It has three driving modes: Economy, City, or Sport. There is also a cruise control function.

The scooter uses a dual-braking system that includes an electronic ABS on its rear wheel. This is something we are often surprised by on scooters. The two-wheeler’s electric motor is equipped with turn signals and an illuminated base. A rear “EB” monogram projection logo from Ettore Buatti enhances the vehicle’s “artistry and style.”

Wiebke Stahl (Managing Director of Bugatti International) stated that Bugatti is the pinnacle in automotive excellence. Partnering with Bytech allows us to expand our reach in electric mobility with an experienced partner, and a product that is enjoyed by consumers all over the globe.

It is important to note that this is not an electric Bugatti. Instead, it is the first Bugatti with two-wheel. We tested the Bugatti Baby II back in 2020. It has a peak power output of up 13.4 horsepower (10 kW). It also has a top speed at 42 mph (70 km/h). There are four wheels.
