Cadillac Blackwing Sedans are Sold Out. However, One of Each Is Still Available

Next month, the dynamic duo will be up for auction.

The Cadillac Blackwing duo, the HTML4-V super sedans and HTML5-V super cars – sold all 250 examples of their initial allocation in just minutes. Customers were quick to grab the last gas-powered Cadillac V cars. However, those who missed the opportunity have another chance to purchase one from the original production run. VIN 001 will be auctioned off by Cadillac at Barrett-Jackson’s 2021 Scottsdale auction in Arizona.

Both are powerful performance sedans. However, the CT5V Blackwing is the most powerful Cadillac ever. The supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine, which is the same one as the CTS-V, produces 668 horsepower (498 Kilowatts) and 659 pounds-feet (892 Newton meters) of torque. This luxury four-door can travel 60 mph (96 km/h) in just 3.7 seconds. The top speed of the luxury four-door is approximately 200 mph (322 km/h). Customers have the option to row their own gears using a six-speed manual. However, it is slightly slower than 10-speed automatic gearbox-equipped models.

The CT4-V Blackwing is also no slouch. This smaller sedan comes with a twin-turbocharged, 3.6-liter V6 engine that produces a powerful 472 horsepower (351 kW) as well as 445 pound-feet (602 Newton meters) of torque. The engine can be paired with the 6-speed manual or 10-speed automatic, delivering power to the rear wheels. With the autobox, sprints to 60 mph take just 3.8 seconds. The top speed is 189 mph (304 km/h). The Cadillac brand’s end is represented by the CT5V and CT4V Blackwing sedans, which are performance-oriented powerhouses.

Black Ambition will receive one-hundred per cent of the hammer prices from both. This non-profit organization helps Latinx and Black entrepreneurs start up businesses in the technology, design, and consumer products/services areas. The auction in Arizona will run from March 20 through March 27. Both will command higher prices than if purchased directly from the dealer. The CT4V Blackwing is priced at $87,775 while the CT5V is priced at $125,980. Both include the destination fee.
