This is a virtual successor to the CTS Sport Wagon.
The Cadillac CT5V was our summer test vehicle. We found the sporty sedan to be a solid choice in a segment that is filled with more options. The Motor1.com Senior Editor Jeff Perez said that the car drives well, sounds great and has all the safety and convenience features one would expect from a vehicle of this size. But, it is just not great.
Cadillac introduced the CT5V Blackwing in February to address our main complaint, the underpowered engine. It is basically the Most powerful production car in the company
With its 6.2-liter V8 producing 668 horsepower (498 Kilowatts) & 659 pound-feet (893 Newton-meters), It would be even more appealing if it was shaped like a wagon. This is what an independent designer proposed recently on Instagram.
The designer is known as Sugardesign_1 and his CT5 Sport Wagon renderings depict a long-roof Caddy that looks sporty as a direct successor to the CTS Sport Wagon. His work actually draws inspiration from the CT5 model and not the flagship Blackwing. It features a familiar front look with a CTS-inspired rear end. It looks great! It looks great in our opinion. We can only give our opinion that there are very few chances of a Cadillac wagon sporting a sporty look in the near future. This is due to the market’s current trends and not the company’s inability to make one. Everyone says they want a wagon, but then no one buys one and opts for an SUV. This is the sad truth for wagon-lovers.
We can see that Cadillac could sell this wagon in Europe. This is similar to Genesis selling the G70 Shooting Brake only on the Old continent. This segment has a lot of competition, so the CT5 Sport Wagon is unlikely to be sold.
