Camaro Owners with Corvette Envy can Get C8 Taillights for Their Camaro

Aftermarket taillights will add some flair to the Camaro’s rear.

There are many aftermarket parts available for America’s most famous sports cars. There are many upgrades that can transform a low-trim performance car into a high-performance threat to society. Some are cosmetic upgrades that add personality to your car. You can do this by swapping out your taillights. These Corvette C8-inspired units are available for the Chevy camaro.

These units are available only for Camaro models in the late fifth-generation range, which were produced between 2014 and 2015. Chevy gave the coupe a slight makeover in 2014, with changes to the front and rear fascias. This required redesigned lighting elements. The single-piece unit design was quite bland in comparison to the previous quad-taillight configuration. Although the Corvette-inspired lights add some flash to rear, they are very similar to the C8’s check-mark-styled appearance.

The installation of the new units is explained in detail in a video posted on the Savage Camaro YouTube channel. To remove the old units, one must remove the plastic covers from the rear bumper and taillights. Installation is easy because the new units can be installed in minutes. Although it is possible to do this by yourself, the rear bumper can be a problem and may need assistance. It took approximately an hour to install.

It looks like the Corvette C8 Taillights were created for its older sibling. Unfortunately, these are only available for the 2014-2015 Camaro. The 2022 model is available for those who want a Camaro that can be driven by someone from the Corvette. It comes with Rapid Blue exterior paint, which has been an exclusive feature of the C8. The new paint color is unlikely to reverse the declining sales of the Camaro since 2014.
