Carlsson is releasing their next limited edition luxury car in limited quantities, the S-Class based Carlsson Aigner CK65 RS Blanchimont.
We were able to test the CL-Class based Carlsson Aigner CK65 RS Eau Rouge last year. Now Carlsson is releasing their next limited edition luxury car: the S-Class based Carlsson Aigner CK65 RS Blanchimont. This CK65 RS, like the Eau Rouge is named after Blanchimont’s turn at Spa Francorchamps in Belgium.
The CK65 RS Blanchimont was created in collaboration with Etienne Aigner AG, a leather and lifestyle brand. It is fully equipped with all safety and comfort features Mercedes offers in its S-Class.
The interior is where the CK65 RS Blanchimont shines. There are more than 30 combinations of Aigner leather and Aigner Alcantara. All materials can be fitted by hand, and each stage of cooling and setting is required. It takes more than two weeks to complete the interior.
The CK65 RS Blanchimont is known for its high-end entertainment and business packages. Focal and Alpine components made up the Carlsson Office Concert Hall Infotainment System. It includes Focal’s three way intercom system, seven-inch monitors under the headrests, a 15-inch monitor integrated into roof, a variety of sub-woofers and speakers, and Alpine’s F#1 status DVD tuner with 6.1 surround sound.
A WLAN UMTS router is another highlight that allows three laptops to connect wirelessly and independently. A WLAN-enabled laptop is all that’s required to use UMTS cards. Users can have their own hot spot in the car – they can even use it a few steps away from the CK65 RS Blanchimont.
The Blanchimont’s 6.0-liter V12 biturbo engine gets a new electronic control unit, stainless steel exhaust system, and sports air filters. The result is 705 horsepower (10 more than the CK65 RS Eau Rouge) with an electronically limited torque (1,100 Nm). Markus Schuster, CEO at Carlsson Autotechnik GmbH, says that the top speed of 320 km/h and acceleration of 0-100 km/h within 3.9 seconds make the “Carlsson Aigner CK65 RS Blanchimont” the most powerful luxury limousine on the planet.
