This is a handsome looking shooting brake that has modern amenities in the cabin.
The Nomad nameplate has been used many times throughout the history of Chevrolet. It was however first used in the Chevy Concept Nomad in 1954. It’s basically a Corvette C1 fascia fusing into a two door wagon, a rather ugly concept that didn’t make it to production.
Advanced Automotive Technologies has created an example of it. The bodywork was based on a 2004 Chevrolet Corvette and the Michigan-based outfitter took inspiration from the 1954 Chevrolet Nomad concept. The best part? It’s available for sale at Bring A Trailer.
This is the same rare AAT Nomad that was listed in 2020 with 11,000 miles. The listing price for this AAT Nomad is $129,995. It is one of six and only two with a red exterior. A 5.7-liter LS1 engine powers this shooting brake. It produces 350 horsepower (260 kW) and is sent to the rear wheels via a six-speed manual transmission.
The C1 Corvette front end includes the bumper, hood and fenders. Chrome is the new fad, with lots shiny things on the bumper, grille, trims and even the Z06-style wheels.
The exterior is identical to the 1954 model, but the Nomad version has modern amenities inside. You will find heated and power-adjustable bucket seat, as well as cruise control, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise and power windows. There are also other features such as a head-up display and factory CD stereo with Bose sound.
The 2004 Chevrolet Corvette Commemorative Sport Wagon is up for auction. It will be available for seven days. At the time of writing, it is currently up for auction at $21,022.
