CyberLandr is a Tesla Cybertruck Camper that Completely Disappears

This is the camper that the Cybertruck needs.

Since the Tesla Cybertruck was introduced, people have been fantasizing about how they will take it camping. This is because the Cybertruck is not a truck that is used for work, such as a Ford F-150, but rather an adventure vehicle like a Jeep Wrangler.

The Cybertruck requires a completely new camping solution in order to travel with Broncos, Wranglers and 4Runners into nature. Traditional truck campers and rooftop tents won’t work with the Cybertruck’s dramatically raked roof. Towing a large camping trailer can cost hundreds of miles. Enter CyberLandr a truck camper as innovative as the truck it was built.

Rise CyberLandr, Rise

The CyberLandr is not like traditional truck campers, which are placed in a bed that protrudes above the truck’s truck cab. It fits completely within the Cybertruck bed cavity when it’s collapsed. Both the retracting tonneau cover and tailgate can be closed over it. The CyberLandr expands to reach the tailgate and becomes a fully-equipped, four-season, off grid camper.

This truck is wild and deserves a wild camper.

CyberLandr’s unique design means that it does not drag the Cybertruck’s aerodynamics when stowed. This eliminates the need for a towable or truck camper. It weighs in at just 1,200 pounds dry, which is half the Cybertruck’s maximum payload of 3,500 pounds.

The CyberLandr can also be operated entirely on electric so you don’t have to worry about burning propane bottles or using open flames. The Cybertruck will have the largest battery packs on the market, so the CyberLandr does not require a separate power supply such as a gas generator or battery bank. The Cybertruck plugs in and the CyberLandr shares power. It also sends back energy from its 500-watt solar panels.

Let’s take a look inside

The CyberLandr can be expanded by pressing a button on an application. It has two rooms. One large room is where you can eat, sleep and lounge and one smaller room that houses a bathroom. One side of the larger room has a marble-like porcelain kitchen countertop with an invisible induction cooktop and a huge sink. A small refrigerator and storage are also located below the counter.

You will find two very unique chairs that can be used as seating. These free-standing, reclining seats can be taken inside or outside the CyberLandr to use as seating around the campfire. We’ll also be discussing another function of these seats in a moment.CyberLandr Kitchen…

CyberLandr’s entertainment system will include a 32-inch smart TV/monitor in 4K resolution with integrated streaming apps. The TV can be moved from one wall to another by hanging on a track. The TV also features surround sound audio and each CyberLandr will be equipped with Elon’s StarLink satellite dish, which allows for high-speed internet access anywhere on Earth (except Antarctica).

And Office…And Bedroom

These two lounge chairs can be transformed into a queen-size bed by mounting above the countertop when it’s time for sleep. This leaves enough space below the bed to allow another person or two children the option of sleeping on the floor. Dual-pane windows provide excellent insulation. They also have electrochromic dimming, which allows for complete privacy without the use of blinds or curtains. The CyberLandr, like all Teslas comes with 360-degree security surveillance and motion-sensing outdoor lighting.

The Cybertruck’s open-tailgate bathroom is located behind the main room. Radiant floor heating is available, as well as a dry-flush toilet that can be cleaned by the user without the use of a black tank. There’s also a four-stage filter in the recirculating shower that creates a virtual water supply that equals that of a 40-gallon freshwater tank and 20 gallon grey water tanks.

Get in Line

The CyberLandr team knows that it must get the camper ready to go quickly, with some Tesla Cybertrucks due to arrive in the second half of 2021. This schedule is even more complicated because the Cybertruck’s final form has yet to be revealed. While prototyping continues on the CyberLandr, the final build will be completed once Tesla and company have locked down the specifications.

Although this company is still a novice when it comes building and selling campers and RVs, the quality of their build quality and customer service are probably good.

The CyberLandr is being built in Austin Texas, near where Tesla manufactures the Cybertruck. You might be able to order the Cybertruck and CyberLandr together, and have them delivered together.

We were told that the CyberLandr can be easily taken in and out from the Cybertruck. The company also has customer focus groups, which are helping to choose the best implementation.

CyberLandr’s unique feature is its invisibility when it’s stowed. The Cybertruck’s large back seat and extra-large frunk allow for plenty of cargo space when the bed is empty. The Cybertruck’s low center of gravity means that you can drive it over rugged terrain where a conventional truck camper wouldn’t be able to.

Is CyberLandr crazy? Yes, but not as much as the Cybertruck.

While you might lose the Cybertruck’s bed capability, you will gain the freedom to travel in stealth throughout the day with all the maneuverability that comes with not having to tow or haul a large camper. You’ll be able to use a parking lot or drive-thru lanes with a traditional truck camper.

The CyberLandr’s MSRP is $49,995, which falls within the range of other premium truck campers. For as low as $100, you can reserve one today and receive $5,000 off your MSRP for getting in early. You can also put down as much as $5,000 to get a discounted price of $39,995. However, only 20 slots are available. cyberlandr.com has more information.

Is CyberLandr crazy? Yes, but not more than the Cybertruck. A wild truck like this deserves a wild camper. CyberLandr’s team has created a product that no one expected. This is exactly how we felt when Tesla’s truck rolled onto the stage for its first time.
