While there are many celebrities who have expensive car collections, we have special regard for Dax Shepard. It is easy to fill a garage full of supercars, but it takes passion and a Buick Roadmaster Estate wagon with 700 horsepower. Your author admits to having enjoyed the sweet strangeness of driving and owning this American station wagon.
The author has never driven a Foretravel luxury motorhome. With prices on these machines exceeding $1 million, it is not possible to own one. Shepard is a success story on screen and in podcasting. He’s part the new Top Gear America team and, according to a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel he is also the proud owner the above-mentioned snazzy RV.
We believe his new rig to be a Foretravel motorhome. Although he doesn’t give any details, he does show a few photos that look very much like the Foretravel Presidential Series Realm. He mentions that his RV has a king-size bed, two bathroom, and bunk beds for the children – all of these are present andaccounted for. It’s not clear how the motorhome is outfitted inside. Luxury motorhomes are known for having many custom options. The following photos and video tour, taken by Foretravel, give us a glimpse into Shepard’s home and the lives of Kristen Bell and their children.
According To Foretravel’s website we know that the Presidential Series rides on a Spartan K4-605 chassis with a Trussed Torque-Box frame. We aren’t sure what this means but Shepard tells Kimmel that he “glided into” town after purchasing the vehicle in Texas and returning it to California in December. The Cummins X15 turbo diesel Cummins X15 delivers 605 horsepower and 1,950 pound feet of torque. You’ll find slide-out rooms and powered awnings. There are also a lot of televisions. Shepard claims that Aerosmith has parked it in his driveway.
This type of travel comes at a high price. Shepard did not mention the cost of this trip, but a quick search on the internet shows that a Foretravel Presidential Series Realm can easily exceed $1 million.
