The 2020 Dodge Challenger Drag Pak At the lightning-quick speed of 2.6 seconds, is ready to cover the quarter mile 2019 SEMA Show  This track-only coupe comes with National Hot Rod Association certification and National Muscle Car Association competition. Dodge will only make 50 units and has not yet disclosed the price.

The Challenger Drag Pak is powered by a supercharged 354-cubic inch (5.8-liter), V8. It is driven by a T400 3-speed transmission and a Kwik Shift manual shifter. Racepak Smartwire is fully-programmable power distribution centre. The engine cross member has been redesigned to lower the center of gravity. The power is sent to the rear wheels by a lightweight driveshaft.

The Challenger Drag Pak is a standard model that starts at the FCA Brampton Assembly Plant, Ontario, Canada. Mopar adds a welded rolling cage to ensure safety on the track. Mopar also installed Bilstein double-adjustable front struts and adjustable rear coilovers. The chassis is equipped with wheelie bars as well as a parachute mount. The car is able to ride on lightweight wheels.

“We want this model to look so cool that the customer purchases a Challenger Drag Pak, he or she will want to run these graphics,” Mark Trostle, Head Performance, Passenger Car and Utility Vehicle Design at FCA North America, stated in the model’s announcement.

Although the Challenger Drag Pak has a white body, there is a blue stripe running across the roof, hood, and rear deck. There are also narrower red lines at each end. Similar elements can be found on the sides. The rear fenders feature a large Mopar emblem.
