You can choose from the Hemi Orange appearance package or the SRT Black appearance pack.
Halloween is just around the corner. However, the 2022 Dodge Charger as well as the Challenger will not be scrambling for costumes this year. Both the Hemi Orange styling packs and the SRT Black have been added to the automaker’s offerings.
The Hemi Orange package is a tribute to the distinctive orange appearance Dodge gave their iconic Hemi engines in the muscle car era. The exterior of the vehicle is decorated with orange accents, including an orange accent stripe running bumper-to-bumper. The Dodge uses the color to define the Midnight Grey Metallic grille, and fender badges. Orange stitching is added to the interior by Dodge, including the console lid, console lid, shifter boot and instrument panel.
Only the GT RWD trims and the Scat Pack Widebody trims have the Hemi Orange package, while the SRT Black package covers the SRT Hellcat, SRT Hellcat Redeye Charger, and Challenger offerings.
The Dodge SRT Black package has a more subtle appearance and is slightly less flashy. The Charger gets a Midnight Gray Metallic grille and fender and deck lid SRT badges, while the Challenger gets a unique grille and fender and spoiler badging. Black Nickel exhaust tips are also available on the Charger SRT models.
The Hemi Orange Pack costs $2,995 for the GT RWD. This includes the Brembo four piston calipers, 20-inch wheels, as well as the Performance Handling package. On the Scat Pack Widebody model, the appearance pack costs only $1,500. SRT Black is cheaper at $695. Dodge will offer the Hemi Orange appearance option on selected 2022 Dodge Durango models. The details about the package for the SUV will be available in the first quarter next year. Dodge offers the SRT Black package for the Durango.
