Dodge is increasing production to meet demand.
Dodge made it clear that the 2021 Durango SRT Hellcat model was only available for one year. It was planned that production would last only six months. According to Mopar insiders, assembly of the performance SUV will end in June.
Due to the high demand, the Jefferson North Assembly Plant in Michigan will also increase its production. Dodge originally planned to produce around 2,000 Durango SRT Hellcats.
The limited-run Durango is available for purchase at $80,995 plus a $1,495 delivery fee. The vehicle can travel a quarter mile in just 11.5 seconds. The crossover’s high-powered engine can still pull 8,700 pounds (3.946 kilograms)
Performance upgrades also include an upgraded suspension and Brembo brakes that have rotors measuring 13.8 inches in back and 15.8 inches front. The interior features a flat-bottom steering column and red-trimmed gauges.
