Drag Race: Can a Tuned Nissan GT-R beat a Tesla Model S Plaid?

Unprepared surfaces reveal that only one car can surpass the Model S latest update.

The Tesla Model S Plaid demonstrated that it is a fast car and can outrun the fastest BMW ever made.

This result was expected considering their official output numbers and performance numbers. What if the competitor is a tuned example with no official performance numbers? In other words, a Nissan GTR that produces 1,100 horsepower at its wheels?

YouTube’s Throttlehouse has exactly this.

The Model S Plaid first had to confront a Porsche 911 Turbo S on an unprepared drag strip. We can all agree that 911 Turbo S is a rocket that was built on many drag racing videos it participated in.

The Porsche was unable to handle the Tesla, despite the latter not using its drag strip mode. It was not even close.

The same happened for the Nissan GT-R. The tuned Godzilla only had one chance against the Tesla despite having so much power. The Throttlehouse team tried to host a race between them, but it was canceled due to an undisclosed reason.

It turns out that only one car can beat Throttle House Model S Plaid in Throttle House straight-line shootout. That’s because it’s the wildcard candidate that wasn’t initially introduced. But what was it? To find out, you will need to see the video at the top of this page. You won’t be able to see it coming.
