Ex-Ferrari Designer Creates Crazy ‘Frankenstein’ Car For GTA V

Frankenstein is the literal name for it.

Frank Stephenson is a prolific designer of automobiles. His experience includes McLaren and Ferrari. He also designed some of the most famous cars in the world, such as the Maserati. How do you make a living when you have crafted machines such as the Ferrari F430 and McLaren P1? Escort cosworth and Maserati MC12, among others? You combined them to create a bizarre Grand Theft Auto V supercar. Wait, what?

Stephenson is a master of GTA content and has made it a YouTube series. It began with a friendly criticism of the quirky cars in the game. Many of these cars look very similar to real-life ones. The popularity of the video meant that Stephenson created his own official supercar. He didn’t mix up several cars to create something generic. Instead, he took inspiration from several of the real-life designs he had seen to create Frankenstein. It is a fitting name.

Maserati MC12 is the foundation of the car, which was based on Ferrari Enzo. Maserati lends the car its long wheelbase and proportions, while McLaren P1 provides the greenhouse. McLaren influences are evident on the doors, particularly the intake design of the 12C. Ferrari is at the front, with a nose that was inspired by the F430. At the back, the FXX rear clip makes things wild. Stephenson adds a biplane spoiler to the cockpit, as if that wasn’t enough. The Cozzy also borrowed the offset for the front fender.

Is it possible? Stephenson is a credit to Stephenson for critiquing his own design just as much as the other designs. The final product is not all smiles and puppy love. He thinks the F430 could have influenced the front, and doesn’t like the way the doors fit together. He is still making Frankenstein available for download on PC to GTA V players.

Although it is not an official GTA addition, it’s still cool to have a car with a prominent automotive designer.
