Famous Toyota Supra from ‘Fast & Furious” Sells for $550,000

This is your chance to buy the most important car in ‘The Fast and Furious’.

The Fast & Furious introduced the American tuner car scene and launched a movie series that has continued to get crazy until there were a rocket-propelled Pontiac Fiero taking off into space in F9.

The Toyota Supra, which belonged to Brian O’Conner and Paul Walker, is now available for purchase. Barrett-Jackson is selling the car at Las Vegas’s auction from June 17 to 19.

Walker was behind the wheel of the Supra and it appeared in both interior and exterior shots in The Fast and Furious. The vehicle was built by Eddie Paul, at The Shark Shop, El Segundo. The car was transformed into the Supra in Fast 2 Furious after it was overhauled. More work was required to restore the Supra’s iconic appearance in the first movie.

The Supra is finished in Candy Orange pearl-finish paint by Lamborghini Diablo. It also features a figure called the “Nuclear Gladiator”, which spans the side. The body kit also includes a Bomex front spoiler, side skirts, an APR aluminum biplane rear wings, and 19-inch five-spoke tires.

This car is stock, unlike Brian’s Supra from The Fast & Furious. Under the hood is a 3.0-liter turbocharged, inline-six. Although it runs through a 4-speed automatic transmission, the small, round gearshift inside the cabin makes it appear like a manual.

Although the company will not disclose the vehicle’s price at its initial sale, there won’t even be a reserve. A certificate of authenticity and extensive documentation will be included in the sale.

Mecum sold a Supra from The Fast and Furious for $185,000 in 2015. It looked almost identical to the one above, but it had a naturally-aspirated inline-six engine as well as a 5-speed manual transmission.
