Ferrari F8 Drag Races Porsche 911 Turbo S In Fast Convertible Battle

All-wheel drive is crucial.

Numerous videos have shown that the 992-generation Porsche 911 Turbo S is fast, beating supercars as well as other famous fast cars. In a drag race, it beat both the GT-R Nismo (Audi R8 ) and the GT-R Nismo (Audi R8 ), proving how fast the Porsche 911 Turbo S is.

But can the 911 Turbo S Ferrari be as fast? Can it match the Prancing Horse’s performance with fewer cylinders?

The 911 Turbo S’s greatest strength lies in its incredible traction thanks to its all-wheel drive system. This drag race video, which was uploaded by Daniel Abt to YouTube, shows a matchup of the Ferrari F8 Spider with a Porsche 911 Turbo S Cabriolet.

The 911 Turbo S’s twin turbo 3.8-liter flat-6 engine produces 640 horsepower (477 Kilowatts), and 590 lbft (800 Newton meters) of torque. These numbers are transmitted to all four wheels via an eight-speed PDK. It boasts a claimed 0-60 mph (97 km/h) time of 2.6 seconds. These numbers will show you that the 992 Turbo S is a beast on the line.

The Ferrari F8 Spider isn’t an exception. The twin-turbo, 3.9-liter V8 produces 710 horsepower (530 kW) as well as 568 lbft (770 Nm), which is slightly more powerful but less torque. However, the Ferrari is lighter than the 911 Turbo S convertible.

These are all factors that make it likely that Porsche will be faster off the line. But can it keep its lead to the end of the quarter mile drag racing? You can see the video above and leave your comments below.
