Ferrari Sedan Rendering: One-off BR20 with Four Doors

Ferrari is the Ferrari for families.

Ferrari’s unique creations often transform the base model into something radical and stylistically imaginative. The BR20 is a significant departure from the GTC4Lusso. It also has a shooting brake body. Although it’s elegant and athletic with a new roof, we are left wondering what Ferrari would do. SRK Designs has created a new video that transforms the BR20 into a unique sedan.

The video begins with the BR20 just before the transformation starts. It shows the car being reshaped and expanded to fit the greenhouse. This unofficial rendering shows how the BR20 could have its sleek silhouette skew to fit a longer roof or a larger greenhouse. However, the additional cabin space eats into its long hood. The sedan’s front wheel arches lose some of their elegance, which gives it a more streamlined appearance.

Although a four-door Ferrari might seem outlandish, the company is currently working on the Purosangue SUV. This will transport Ferrari families in supercar luxury and Italian supercars. The Ferrari test car was spotted in spy shots with a Maserati Levante body, and four doors handles. In 1980, Ferrari also produced the unique Pinin concept – a car that was built to commemorate Pininfarina’s 50th anniversary. Pininfarina was also a part of the design of Ferrari’s 456 GT Venice, which is a series four-door models that were commissioned by Sultan of Brunei.

Ferrari’s four-door ambitions don’t seem to be beyond the Purosangue at this time, but electrifying and other technologies could see the legendary supercar brand expand beyond what is expected. Rumours have circulated that two additional SUVs, both fully electric, will be available after the Purosangue debuts. However there has not been any information about any four-door sedans. Although a four-door Ferrari sedan is cool, reengineering an existing model in order to make room for the extra space could prove costly.
