Ferrari SF90 Stradale Performs at Bonneville Salt Flats

Celebrate the’speed records that were set there’

The Bonneville Salt Flats is a natural phenomenon in northwestern Utah. It is estimated that it holds approximately 147 million tonnes of salt. This is a location of many land speed records, and even Ferrari has paid a tribute to it with its latest video.

Italian supercar manufacturer Ferrari took the SF90 Stradale to the salt flats, where it filmed the car doing what it excels at. Ferrari chose to use an example with the Assetto Fiorano package , which further enhances its “racing spirit”.

Although the final numbers for 2021 have not yet been released, Ferrari has plenty to be proud of. The Maranello-based automaker sold 8,206 cars worldwide in the first nine months last year. This represents a 27 percent increase over 2020. With a 109.2 percent increase in sales, the Americas saw a 40% increase in demand. However, mainland China, Hong Kong and Taiwan saw the largest impact with a 109.2 percentage jump.

The SF90 Stradale has a hybrid powertrain that combines a turbocharged 4.0 liter V8 with three motors to produce a total system output of 986 horsepower (735 kilowatts). The hybrid powertrain produces 590 pound-feet (880 Newton-meters), of torque. The supercar can sprint from a stop to 60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 2.5 seconds. It can also reach 125 mph (201 km/h) in 6.7 seconds. The supercar’s top speed is 211 mph (339 km/h).

We have seen many videos of the SF90, and know that it is incredibly fast. It’s even more impressive to watch it move around Bonneville Salt Flats.
