Is this the next Ferrari Icona

Ferrari had been testing the LaFerraris for the past year. However, we just recently discovered what their purpose could be. According to the company, will unveil a new Icona Series model in November. The confusing and camouflaged LaFerraris that we have seen could have been used as test vehicles. A Varryx video shows a heavily camouflaged vehicle being tested on public roads.

This one is more hidden than the previous ones, which could mean it is closer to being revealed. The model’s shape is distorted by the thick black wrap. This could indicate that it has retro styling and shares a platform with an open-top.

Ferrari LaFerrari Aperta. There is one difference, however: the side-view reflectors. They are now located on the front fenders, instead of at the bottom of the A-pillars. The design is based on the 1967 Ferrari 330 P4 racecar, which has curvy fender arches as well as a unique spoiler.

This model could be the next in Ferrari’s Icona Series. It would sport Ferrari’s naturally-aspirated 6.5-liter V12 from 812 Competizione. It generates 830 horsepower (619 kilowatts), and 510 pound feet (692 Newton-meters), though it could produce even more in the Icona. Ferrari’s technical boss stated earlier this year that they were working on a beefier version of the V12. Spy photos have shown LaFerrari testing modified exhaust systems.

The brand’s Monza Sp1 and SP2 Speedsters broke cover in 2018 and 2018. There were only 500 production runs of the SP1 or SP2 models, so it’s not likely that the new model will be made. It is possible that the LaFerraris we have seen could be used for something entirely new, but the company is clearly working towards something. Ferrari could unveil the next Icona model at this November’s Finali Mondiali, according to rumours.
