This problem is solved by the new Firestone Direct Service which brings the mechanic to your vehicle right from your driveway.
Firestone Direct provides the services you need, but not the time it takes to get a mechanic there. These vans are specially equipped with the right tools to perform tasks such as oil changes, changing the air filter, replacing batteries, or working on brakes.
Installing tires. To prevent oil spillages, the vehicles have a vacuum oil collection system. Certified technicians perform the work.
People are more comfortable ordering online and at-home services after a year of being confined by the pandemic. Firestone Direct hopes to take advantage of this behavior and offer vehicle repairs that are done at home.
Only requirements are that the surface be flat and there is enough space to access the vehicle. Firestone Direct suggests parking lots or driveways.
Angie Oleson, program director at Firestone Direct, stated in this announcement that Firestone Direct brings trusted car care using the most recent automotive technologies directly to customers. She also mentioned the ease of booking online and at-home service to maximize convenience.
Firestone Direct is only currently available in Nashville and Orlando. Firestone Direct plans to expand its offering in the southeast US, and then expand nationally in 2023.
