Ford Bronco Color Cactus Grey Has Been Modified In Configurator

It looks darker now.

The Ford Broncoconfigurator is updated to show the Cactus Gray color more accurately on your screen. The new design has a less blue hue, which is closer to the actual color of the paint in real life. Below is an image that shows the differences between the modified and original appearances.

It is quite significant. The new image shows a paint color which actually appears gray. The older image is closer to seafoam.

Ford Product Communications Manager Mike Levine wrote about the change via Twitter. People who replied to his tweet also attached real-world photos of Cactus Gray. It’s amazing to see how the paint looks under different lighting conditions. The blue hues are more prominent when there is daylight.

The images shown above are Ford’s display showing the Bronco’s color options in sunlight and shade. The hues in these two images are not the same, but you can see the difference in the order of the colors in the pictures on the right.

It depends on the circumstances, Ford’s Cactus Gray images could be a true representation of the color.

If you don’t like the 11 colors on the Bronco, wait until the 2022 model-year. Ford has already confirmed that a new shade of green will be joining the lineup. This is a color not available on the SUV. It is possible that Cyber Orange will disappear.
