The new F150 Raptor car is one of the most important new launches for Ford this season. Ford is betting big on this performance truck. It has many important modifications that make it even more powerful than its predecessor. Ford had to modify their production line to fit Raptors’ chunky 37-inch tires.
Tony Greco, the Raptor’s program manger, was asked by the publication if the truck is designed with electrified powertrains. Ford currently has the F-150 PowerBoost Hybrid on sale. They are finishing up the details.

MuscleCarsAndTrucks speculates Ford might add Raptor hardware on the F-150s, including hybrids and zero-emission models. We find this a little too far-fetched, but it is possible.
The Raptor R, which will include all the Raptor’s hardware upgrades and a more powerful V8 motor, is more exciting. Rumours of a 5.2-liter Raptor have circulated, but it is not confirmed. Ford promises that the Raptor R will be available for purchase in 2022.
