Barrett-Jackson team members owned all the real-life cars, or they sold them off.
We are approaching 2019 and we have another car pack for Xbox One gamers racing the world of Forza Motorsport7. The release is timed to coincide with the new year. It’s also tied to the huge Barrett-Jackson car auction in Arizona. Scottsdale’s festivities will begin tomorrow. Gamers will need to wait until January 15 in order to sim race with these collectible classics.
Craig Jackson, Barrett-Jackson’s chairman and CEO, stated that Forza racing and Barrett-Jackson are two of the major drivers of international car culture. “Barrett Jackson helps enthusiasts realize their high-octane goals through the most prestigious collector car events around the globe. Forza allows enthusiasts to experience rare cars in a virtual environment. Microsoft’s Turn 10 Studios is an honor to collaborate with us to create a fun, engaging game that will encourage a new generation of car enthusiasts.
What does this package contain? Sim racers can enjoy some unique creations, such as the custom 1932 Ford called Double Down or a classic Plymouth Hemi Cuda convertible. A 1963 Shelby Monaco King Cobra race car, the Shelby Monaco King Cobra, is also included. For vintage off-road enthusiasts, there’s even a Ford Bronco. The pack contains seven vehicles, some of which may seem like fiction, but all are real. Each vehicle has been either sold at Barrett-Jackson or owned by someone within the company.
This one, like most car packs is not a freebie. Forza Motorsport 7 Car Pass holders won’t be charged an extra fee, but all others will. Although pricing has not been revealed, the pack will be available in a matter of days.
