G-Power M3 GT2 S & M3 Tornado CS Clubsport Racers with 600hp

These photos and full specifications of two new M3 models were taken by G-Power tuners. Both models pay tribute to the BMW Motorsports team’s victory at Nurburgring earlier this May.

G-Power, a German tuning company, has created two vehicles in honor of BMW Motorsport’s win at the 2010 24 Hours of Nurburgring endurance racing race. According to a company press release, the G-Power M3 GT2 S is aimed at BMW enthusiasts “looking for a vehicle similar to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS,” while G-Power M3 Tornado CS the “civilian edition” of the same car.

Street legal. Both cars cost EUR10,800. Both cars are street legal and priced at EUR10,800 (excl. tax). A titanium exhaust will reduce the vehicle’s weight by 26 kg.

Both vehicles will see a nearly 43 percent increase in power. The spec sheet lists 600 PS (441kW) and 580 Nm (428lb-ft). The car can reach a top speed of 330 km/h (205 MPH) using the seven speed DCT gearbox. However, the six-speed manual transmission allows the car to travel up to 320 km/h (191 MPH).

The only thing that makes the cars different is their weight. The GT2 S has a complete carbon-fiber body kit. It includes replacement parts at each of the wings and the front skirt. Lightweight material is also used for the front and lip spoilers. The M3 GT2S weighs in at 150 kg, despite the Tornado CS’s same power output.

The GT2 S can sprint from a standstill at 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. This is 0.2 seconds quicker than the TornadoCS. The GT2 S’s speed range from 0 to 200 km/h was not disclosed, but its sibling model does it in 11.8 seconds. The Tornado CS is kept on the road by forged Silverstone ClubSport, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport rubbers. The 20-inch wheels are nine inches wide at the front and 10.5 inches at the back. The GT2 S features Michelin Pilot Sport Cup tires wrapped around three-piece Silverstone RS wheels measuring 9.x20 front and 11.5. rear.

The G-Power M3 GT2S starts at EUR139,495, excluding taxes and paperwork. The G-Power Tornado CS retail price was not revealed.
