Both get new interiors and other goodies.
Galpin Auto Sports arrived at the Los Angeles Auto Show this year in style, with a pair custom-built Land Rover Defender SUVs. To create the Defenders, Galpin Auto Sports, an aftermarket tuner and car customizer, teamed up with Undefeated (an apparel brand) to make it their first collaboration. Both Defenders feature strong, retro-inspired styling cues. However, the pair has more to it than just a new look.
The Defender 90 P400 First edition features an Ivory roof over a rich Jaguar Green body. It feels retro. The wheel covers, grille and surrounds of the headlights are in Ivory White. The Defender badge on the Hood is also in the contrasting colour. The SUV feels larger due to the change from black cladding along its body to body color. GAS installed interior blackout packages and parchment leather upholstery. A custom trunk storage unit is included, as well as a roof rack that can hold a surfboard attachment.
Another Defender is the 2021 110 P400SE, which GAS dressed with a Jaguar Navy exterior and paired it again with an Ivory roof. The Defender 110 has the same Ivory accents that the 90 but the interior is different where Galpin adds a navy houndstooth touch to the parchment leather. The Defender 110 features a Nomad Kitchen Co. prep table and sink, as well as a refrigerator and three-drawer rear storage area.
Although photos are not available at this time, Galpin Auto Sports claims that there will be more information and assets for the Land Rover builds in the next month. We are eager to see these Defenders in retro style. The Defender is one of the most popular off-road SUVs right now. It will compete against the Ford Bronco and the Jeep Wrangler as well as other soft off-roaders made by other automakers.
