It is a GV80, but with less junk in its trunk.
Genesis was a backer to almost every global automaker of the 21st Century. Since the 1990s, SUVs have been steadily rising up the automotive food chain. However, the segment has seen a significant increase in sales over the past 10 years. Genesis was launched in 2015 as a separate brand. Its first offering was a sleek sedan. The lineup remained sedan-exclusive up until the launch of the GV80.
Although it may look like a GV80 vehicle, it is actually the Coming GV70 . It’s actually what the GV70 could look, based upon a series of drawings. Official teaser photos have been released Genesic AtchaCars YouTube uploaded the photos and created unofficial renderings of the compact crossover’s front, side and rear. The GV70 can be seen in almost every color possible, even gold. We’d choose one of the blue shades, all things considered.
The G80, GV80 and GV80 caught our eye with their crisp blue dual-strip headlights. Although the GV70 looks a lot like the SUV and sedan at the front, the GV70 offers a more spacious greenhouse. The GV80’s roofline is more coupe-like than the GV70. It also has a steeper slope. Although Genesis may be late to the SUV market, it’s not surprising that the company is making an impressive entrance with its bold styling.
The GV70 will have a rear-wheel drive architecture and an all-wheel drive option. We expect to see turbocharged 2.5 and 3.5-liter engines with diesels outside of the U.S. The interior of the GV70 could be a copy of the G70 sedan update, which would fill it with digital displays such as a 10.25-inch infotainment display mounted atop its dash.
The GV70 will be announced late in the year. The GV70 should be on the market by 2021. However, it may be sold in the United States as a model 2022.
