Peugeot’s four-door model is stylish and elegant. These photos showcase the model’s great looks in detail.
The Peugeot508 has yet to have its official unveiling before the Geneva Motor Show. Motor1.com was able to see the new sedan in action in a studio. They also took a lot of photos of its stunning design.
Peugeot’s flagship product, the 508, is the number one spot. It features a mesh grille and shiny pendants to draw the eye. The narrow headlights have dagger-shaped running lamps that run along the corners of each side. The sedan’s shape is clean without being too coupe-like like some of the recent four-doors. This allows for rear headroom to be maintained. This Peugeot’s tail shows that it isn’t a true sedan. The liftback rear allows easy access to the cargo area. The trunk space has increased by 0.5 cubic feet (14 Liters) over the previous generation.
The 508’s interior features a futuristic cabin. This is despite its unadventurous exterior. The digital instruments are held in a hexagonal opening. A 12.3-inch information display is located in the middle stack. The cockpit’s driver side was dominated by metallic trim. On the passenger side, however, you will find wood trim.
A night vision system is also available. Safety aids such as adaptive cruise control, automatic brakes, and automatic headlights are available to drivers.
There are many engine options available to buyers. The 1.6-liter turbocharged gas engine is available with either 178 horsepower, or 222 hp and an eight-speed auto. You can also choose from 1.5- or 2.0-liter diesel options with 128 HP, 158 HP, and 178 horsepower tunes. You can choose between a six-speed manual transmission or an eight-speed automatic. In 2019, a plug-in hybrid will be added to the range.
