Porsche made just two 993-generation 911 Speedsters . The first was for Butzi Porsche, the original 911 designer. Jerry Seinfeld was responsible for the second.
The 993 Speedster Remastered by The Quail is finished in Peninsula Cypan paint with a wild mix green and Mandarin Orange leather upholstery. The body reinforcements are located in the area normally used for rear seats to maintain chassis rigidity. This area is covered by a carbon fiber tonneau and includes roll hoops. The windshield is made of carbon fiber and has an aluminum reinforced cowl.
Gunther Werks offers bullet-shaped aluminum sidemirrors and a carbon fibre front splitter. Five-spoke wheels can be upgraded to the Fuchs classic design, but with carbon fiber barrels or magnesium centers. The exhaust tips can be 3D printed Inconel.
The 993 Speedster Remastered is just 2,590 lbs (1,175 kg).
The flat-six engine of 4.0-liter capacity makes 435 horsepower (324 Kilowatts) as well as 335 pound-feet (454 Newton meters). It is located on the rear deck. The redline for the mill is 7,800 revs.
