The Fit will be discontinued at the end 2020 model year. The reason for the company’s decision to discontinue the Fit is that the market has changed since its original introduction in 2006. According to Honda’s 2021 What’s New report, HR-V and Civic Hatchback are the new gateway models of Honda. They offer significant utility, value, and performance. Honda will increase production of the HRV to balance out the Fit’s departure.
