Honda’s New Ad Highlights Some of Its Best Hits Racing Towards the Future

All the essentials, from motorcycles to aircraft to the NSX or Ridgeline, are covered.

Honda is more than a car manufacturer. In fact, Honda has been around since 1948. Honda has launched many products over the course of its 73-year history. The Tokyo-based company is one of the most versatile in the world, offering everything from ATVs and motorcycles to power equipment and even an plane. A new campaign, “The Origin of Determination,” features many of these products.

The spot, which lasts 60 seconds, showcases everything, from Honda’s first product, the 1947 A Type motorcycle, to the most recent 2022 Civic, available in sedan and hatchback versions. All seem to be racing for a future. Honda claims that the past has been nothing compared to the future.

The iconic “The Power of Dreams”, tagline, is still used as an epilogue for a new ad that features more than 100 products. This includes the beloved S2000 supercar and both generations of NSX. Honda’s new TV commercial aims to show its commitment to the vision of founder Soichiro Honda.

The video features some of Honda’s most important cars, such as the 1964 S600, which was the first Honda passenger car. A brief appearance is made by the original 1973 Civic and the RA272, both of which have gone down as the first Japanese cars to win Formula 1 in Mexico, winning the 1965 Mexican Grand Prix.

What is Honda’s future? If we are talking about the future, a Civic Si will be available soon. The Type R will arrive in 2022. A preview of three concepts shows separate plans for zero-emission cars in China.

Honda’s luxury division Acura is finishing up a revival for the Integra. It is scheduled to launch in 2022 as a five-door sporty liftback. Acura has already stated that there will be a third-gen NXX but it is likely that it will be an EV.
