Horacio himself led this Pagani Convoy in His HP Barchetta

There are so many AMG engines but no Mercedes cars.

Pagani opened a Modena shop in 1992. However, it wasn’t until 1999 that the Zonda was made available as a production model. Pagani only has two model lines over the 26-year history of the company: Huayra and Zonda. The former has been a source of many derivatives over its 26-year history, but every now and again a new Zonda is born. For example, Horacio Pagani’s HP Barchetta leads this convoy through London.

Horacio, a former manager in Lamborghini’s Composites Department, has the most unique Zonda. It features a narrow windscreen and partially covered rear wheels. The central scoop is reminiscent of the Cinque. This Zonda-based HP Barchetta, which is believed to be worth $15 million, is just one of three.

If there was one thing that all these Zondas or Huayras share in common, it would be the AMG engine. The Huayra will be the last coupe. It will sport the same livery as Lewis Hamilton’s F1 car. Spy shots show that a hardcore BC Roadster could be on its way, with up to 800 horsepower.

The strong partnership between Pagani, Mercedes-AMG and Pagani is still intact. However, the Italian hypercar marque has plans for a new model which will abandon the combustion engine in favor of an entirely electric design. It will not be available until the middle of next decade. This model will replace the Huayra, which was already confirmed to have the power source from Affalterbach’s skilled people and to come with a standard manual gearbox.

You can also watch and listen to the Pagani convoy consisting of eight Zondas, two Huayras, and a total value of $30 million. However, we suspect that this is a rough estimate.
