Tesla’s latest 1:10 scale model even includes a yoke-style control.
Tesla first unveiled its wild-looking cybertruck in 2019. There were many jokes about the truck looking like something a child would draw at school. Over 200,000 people have already made reservations for the Cybertruck, regardless of their opinions. While we are still waiting for the final production design to be completed, here is a great option that will not break your budget.
It’s another Hot Wheels 1:10 scale radio-controlled Cybertruck. The ever-young toy company announced a very cute mini-Cybertruck back in 2020. It has a lot of detail and comes at a modest $400 price. This is standard in radio-controlled adult fun. However, this new offering aims to excite children with a $100 price tag.
What can you expect for a mere one-dollar? Although the truck is about the same size as the more expensive collectible, it’s not as sturdy. Mattel Creations estimates that the Cybertruck version can travel at 12 mph. This is half the speed of its more expensive counterpart. It only spins the rear wheels, whereas it has all four. Cnet says it isn’t as detailed or feels as substantial. It’s also half the price.
That said, it does have working lights and a neat steering-wheel-shaped control that mimics the one used in the actual Cybertruck, and it also comes with a 1:10 scale Cyberquad that sits neatly in the back. Although the quad can’t be radio controlled, it rolls freely and doesn’t require a lot of batteries. After plugging the truck in for 3 hours, you’ll get approximately 25 minutes of running time.
This version isn’t limited edition and may be of more interest to Cybertruck enthusiasts. This version, which costs $100, could be an alternative for all Tesla fans.
Hot Wheels Cybertruck will go on sale May 21st through Mattel Creations. You can find the source link at the bottom.
