These portraits are available to anyone, regardless of whether they own a Porsche.
Stuttgart offers something for Porsche-philes – current owners or not. Porsche Digital has introduced VIN Art Configurator, a new feature. VIN Art Configurator allows enthusiasts to immortalize their dream sports car with high-quality posters that they can put up wherever they like. The best part is that the feature doesn’t just apply to Porsche owner.
“With VIN Art portraits, you can bring that Porsche feeling to your living room.” It was important that the configurator worked efficiently and the portraits were unique, in addition to the innovative solution,” states Stefan Zerweck (COO), Porsche Digital.
To pull up a variety of posters designed for Porsches, owners need to enter their vehicle identification numbers through the VIN Art configuraator website. After the design is chosen, owners have the option to choose their preferred size. There are many options available, from small portraits for desks to large posters for the garage. You can order a suspension or stand for mounting on the wall with your final product.
The Porsche Car Configurator can produce a Porsche code for non-Porsche owners. This code can be used to find specific Porsche designs. Already ordered your Porsche 911? Before your Porsche 911 arrives, you can ask for the code and make your art portrait.
The VIN Art Configurator is compatible with all Porsche models from 2016 onwards. The posters are made of a thin, high-quality aluminum plate with smooth, high-gloss surfaces. Porsche stated that the aluminum plate can be used outdoors because it is lightweight, water-repellent, and scratch-resistant.
Porsche did not disclose the cost of the VIN Art portraits, but it is reasonable to assume that they will be high-end due to the high quality materials used by the automaker.
