It’s not for the faint of heart to change fluids on Bugatti Veyron

This service is apparently charged by the dealer at $21k. It’s not easy to do it yourself.

What do you do if your Bugatti Véyron needs to be oil changed? While most owners will arrange for a service appointment at their local dealer, Royal Exotic Cars realizes that they have the equipment and the expertise to perform the work. This video shows how low serviceability is on Bugatti’s priority list.

The hardest part is removing the oil. The 16 drain plugs can be found by removing the cover from the underbody. To remove the 18-quart oil supply from the sump, a mechanic must remove them all. It is more difficult to refill the fluids. Removing the rear deck and fender liners is necessary. This requires you to remove dozens of bolts that are often hidden from view. To access some fasteners, you will need to climb up onto the car.

It’s possible to finally see everything once all the bolts have been removed. You can then change the air filters and perform other tasks. Royal Exotic Cars also takes the time to inspect the fluid levels and detail your engine bay.

The spoiler had apparently leaking hydraulic fluid. Royal Exotic Cars won’t give any details about how to fix it.

After everything is done, the mechanics can put everything back together again and get the Veyron on the road. This is a difficult job, even if you have the tools and the help of knowledgeable people.
