Jeep Teased The Gladiator Hybrid 4xe On Social Media

This is not a Wrangler interior, we think.

This claim deserves to be viewed with skepticism. The interiors of the Jeep Wrangler as well as the Gladiator look almost identical. For most people, the image above posted to Jeep’s official Facebook page seems like another shot behind the wheel. They want you to believe that.

We didn’t give the image any time in the spirit of transparency. Then we came across a discussion at JeepGladiatorForum.com About this photo, and now we have eyes open. Why? Why? Because die-hard enthusiasts can catch the smallest details with ease and are a master at it. The interior trim appears similar to the Wrangler 4xe’s, with a hybrid power-routing screen center appearing on the touchscreen. There are a few exceptions. Extremely This is a Gladiator greenhouse, despite the fact that there are some subtle differences.

We are talking about something very obscure. The side view mirror shows that the roll bar is at 90 degrees. This feature won’t be found on a four door Wrangler. This could be a preview of an electrified Wrangler two-door, which has a straighter bar. There are more than four window switches visible. The seat belt mounts are compatible with either the Gladiator or the Wrangler two-door. Another forum member noticed the button for the cargo light on the Gladiator. This is a very specific item, but it’s what makes super-enthusiasts so hard to fool.

It’s not surprising that a Gladiator4xe is in development. Jeep confirmed that a hybrid Gladiator was under development at the start of 2021. However, a timeline for when it might be available was not mentioned. A name was not mentioned so it is possible that a hybrid Gladiator won’t get 4xe branding. We know that a badge is in production and that this photo may be a hint that it might actually come sooner than expected.

Jeep enthusiasts, well done. Well done indeed.
