This classic Vette was sold at the BarrettJackson Scottsdale auction. It is not an ordinary restoration. The engine inside the hood is the most distinctive customization – a new, 6.2-liter V8-liter LT1 crate engine.
The mill produces 460 horsepower and 465 lbft of torque. It is connected to the wheels by a 4L75E automated transmission. The suspension and Wilwood brake calipers were from a C7. The former is an Art Morrison independent suspension with fully adjustable ride height and Strange coilovers. The wheels are a set EVOD one-offs covered in Nitto whitewall tires.
