Lamborghini Urus: Here’s How It Could Look

The sleek SUV gets a subtle makeover.

Spy photos of the 2022 Lamborghini Urus Evo revealed an SUV covered in camouflage. It didn’t look much different from the offered by the automaker. However, the swirly warp covered the whole car, hiding its sharp design lines. Unofficial renderings of the new Urus are now available. They will arrive sometime later in the year.

The Urus Evo renderings aren’t radical in design. It’s more subtle and many of the changes to the grille have been kept. These renderings showcase a front with a modified look. The grille insert now has a full-width color-matching element. Although the grille design on the new car is more horizontal than the one used, they are subtle differences. A pair of slots are added to the corners of the front bumper.

These changes are located below the headlights, which have the same shape as current ones but sport a different lighting scheme inside. The rear design changes are likely to be subtle. They will likely change the rear bumper and taillights. The powertrain of the SUV is not expected to change. Its twin-turbocharged, 4.0-liter V8 produces 641 horsepower (477 Kilowatts) as well as 626 pound-feet (848 Newton meters) of torque. Lamborghini may also make some changes to the interior design. However, customers shouldn’t be expecting any major changes.

The Lamborghini Urus Evo 2022 will be a small improvement in the model’s exterior design. The platform that underpins many VW Group SUVs like the Audi Q8, Bentley Bentayga and Porsche Cayenne will not change, which limits Lamborghini’s ability to modify it. Although the Italian automaker has not yet announced when the Urus will be revealed, it is expected to arrive in time for the 2022 model-year. It could be sold first in Europe, before being available for sale anywhere else around the globe.
