In 2026, a new all-electric model will be available.
Lancia can be found in Stellantis’ vast portfolio of niche brands. With a plan to see The Delta return, it will have a decade to prove itself. It won’t be available for four years and will have an all-electric motor. Although details are not available, Kolesa.ru has created a series unofficial renderings to show what the new model might look like once it arrives.
Luca Napolitano, Lancia CEO, stated earlier this year that the car would be “exciting” as well as a “manifesto to progress and technology.” However, the renderings show a sleek five-door hatch that modernizes the classic design of the model for a new era. The real thing might look completely different. Although the grille looks familiar and is flanked by headlights that are round, the rendering shows fancy LED units lighting the way.
The car has a simple lower grille opening and a broad hood scoop. There are subtle fender flares. The front wheels are flanked by tall, narrow fender vents. The rear of the Delta rendering is simple with a stylish lower bumper and dual exhaust outlets. There’s also a black hatch insert in between the blocky taillights. The car has a retro look thanks to its multi-spoke, white-ish wheels.
Lancia already stated that the production version will not include dual exhaust outlets and wide grilles. The new Delta model won’t be available until 2026. What Lancia could create could be unlike any Lancia before. Current speculation suggests that Lancia will use the STLA Medium platform. This is an evolution of PSA’s eVMP platform. It should support several Stellantis models including those from Alfa Romeo or DS. Both have a decade to achieve success.
