Land Rover Defender Trophy Edition arrives loaded with off-road gear

Only 220 Land Rovers will be sold in the USA by Land Rover.

Limited edition of 220 SUVs with special American-specification will be the Land Rover Defender Trophy Edition. The SUVs will go on sale August 22nd at a cost of $90,000.

The Trophy Edition’s starting point is the 2022 Defender 110 P400 X-Dynamic SE. They are covered in a wrap made of a mixture of yellow and black that is inspired by Defender Works V8 Trophy. This includes the original Land Rover logo on their doors.

The Trophy Edition comes with a front skid plate and a roof rack with deployable ladder. Mud flaps are also included. The vehicle comes pre-wired for a winch. However, you can add the actual winch to your order. Rubber mats are located in the rear cargo area.

The Extended Black Exterior Pack adds dark trim to these SUVs. You also get the optional air suspension, cold-climate pack, off-road pack and advanced off-road ability pack, as well as the rearview camera system and tow hook.

Buyers will also be able to take part in an off-road Trophy Competition at the Biltmore Estate, Asheville, North Carolina. In early 2022, the top teams will compete in a similar event at Eastnor Castle in the United Kingdom.

Land Rover is expanding its Defender line-up rapidly. Land Rover has already confirmed that the three row 130 modelwill be available next year to customers who love the rugged Defender but require more space inside the cabin.

Rumours also suggest that there are two hardcore Defender versions. One would be an SVR version with 600 horsepower (447kilowatts). is powered by a BMW-sourced twin turbo V8. Bowler is also preparing an ultra-rugged version specifically for off-road use.
