The exterior color of the coupe is changed and minor modifications are made.
The Lexus LC, a luxurious, two-door highway cruiser, is rapidly approaching a midcycle refresh. However, the brand isn’t quite ready to do so yet. Lexus decided to make a few improvements to the LC coupe/convertible in Japan. While the changes don’t make the car any more desirable, they give customers the option to choose from other upgrades and options.
The LC 500 Convertible gets a major update. It now has a new interior color option and retractable roof. Lexus will be adding a new combination of blue and white to the convertible’s interior, along with a Marine Blue roof color. The interior features include the dashboard, the steering wheel and door panels as well as the shifter, center console, shifter and seats. The white background is awash in blue accents.
Lexus will also give both the coupe- and convertible-sized vehicles the new Sonic Iridium exterior color. The convertible’s Terrain Khaki Mica Metallic will be added to the coupe’s color palette. Coupes with the L Package will get 21-inch black-painted wheels with polished finishes. Orange brake calipers will be available on both body styles.
Later this year, the updated LC will be available at Japanese Lexus dealers. The coupe will be available at Japanese Lexus dealers for Y=13.270,000 ($118.738 at current exchange rate), while the convertible will be available at Y=14.770,000 ($132.159) as a starting price. A hybrid version of the coupe is also available. It starts at Y=13.770,000 ($123.212). The V8’s 5.0-liter engine produces 471 horsepower (351 Kilowatts) as well as 398 pound-feet (539 Newton meters) of torque. The hybrid produces 354 horsepower (263 kW), and 369 lb/ft (486Nm) of torque. You can choose between the S and L packages for your coupe.
