You have to ask questions.
The 2019 Lincoln Continental Coach Door Edition was introduced quickly and the automaker decided that it would be expanded in production. It was back in October 2019 but it turned out that dealers could not sell all the assembled units at the same time. If you decide to buy it again, Lincoln will give you a healthy bonus.
CarsDirect received a bulletin from a dealer indicating that the Continental Coach Door Edition is eligible for a $5,000 cash incentive. This was just this week. The discount will not be advertised, so you’ll have to inquire about it. The incentive is only available for the Continental Coach Door Edition, which costs six figures. It does not apply to the standard models.
The source confirms that the incentive is cash-based and dealers have the option to either keep it or offer it to their customers. This will allow them to generate additional profits. You will need to search the country for a Continental Coach Door Edition example, as the Continental is no longer in production. The rebate is only available for certain VINs.
Ford effectively ended sedan production with the death in November of last year. The US’s CD4 platform models, the Continental and Ford Fusion, have all been wiped out. Ford no longer has a sedan in production. The closely related Mondeo can still be found in Europe with both hybrid and diesel engines.
Lincoln’s current rebates in the US will expire on March 31, but the automaker has yet to announce Presidents Day offers.
