Lucid refers to the Pilot Panel as a tablet on the middle stack. It displays the controls for vehicle systems, interior lighting, and seat control.
Lucid’s software suite offers flexibility to meet the needs of each driver. You will find buttons and toggle switches on both sides of the steering wheel. There is also a dial between the screens in the middle stack. These buttons are for people who prefer physical controls. Drivers can also use Amazon Alexa voice commands.
You can use the Pilot Panel and the right section of your upper screen together. Swiping down on the upper display will send the information to the smaller, lower display. This expands the area of information that is visible.
Dolby Atmos sound technology can be used to place sound all around the vehicle’s cabin. Lucid uses this technology to create alerts that sound like the danger zone. If there is a car in your blind spot to your right, the warning tone will come from that side.
While the Air Dream Edition is a top-of-the-line model, it retails at $169,000 without tax credits. However, reservations have already been closed for this model. The base model is priced at $77,400. The Touring is $95,000, and Grand Touring $139,000.
