The 500 horsepower Falcon was quietly presented by Mach7 Motorsports at the Detroit Auto Show.
The Falcon is a 15 unit production model with an aluminum hydro-formed chassis and a carbon fiber monocoque. As the standard engine, the Corvette LS3 V8 produces 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS). The GM LS9 engine produces 640 hp, making the Falcon a supercar Mach7.
Mach7 did not provide any performance specifications as the Falcon that was displayed in Detroit was a prototype. However, the company, which is well-known as a Viper tuner, anticipates similar numbers as the now defunct Dodge. The Viper can go from 0-60 mph (0 to97 km/h), in 3.4 sec, to 0-100 km/h (0-160 km/h), in 7.6 sec @ 127.79mph (205.66km/h), and top speed is 202 mph (325 km/h). These figures may seem conservative given that the Viper’s 600 horsepower (447 kW/ 608 PS), V10 engine weighed in at 3,460 lb (1.570 kg) in its standard trim.
According to a representative of the company, the Falcon’s pricing is expected to hover around $200,000 with the first deliveries occurring before the end.
