The Maserati logo has been redesigned for the lineup, which is also on the MC20 supercar.
Maserati has refreshed its lineup for the 2022 model-year. This includes the naming of each trim level for its cars. The new trim names for the Ghibli and Quattroporte will reflect changes in styling and powertrain options.
GT
Maserati stated that the GT trim represents the brand’s more urban, minimalist, and contemporary spirit. The chrome inserts are used to highlight the GT model’s modern, urban, and minimal design. Wheel options for the Ghibli GT and Levante GT models are 18 inches, and 19 inches for this Quattroporte GT.
In markets where it is available, the new 330-hp four pot hybrid powerplant powers the Ghibli and Levante GT models. The 350-hp V6 powers the US-spec models and the Quattroporte GT.
Modena
Maserati describes Modena buyers as people who are looking for an ideal balance between “innate elegance, dynamism and fun-to drive.” All Modena models come with 20-inch alloy wheels and a sportier interior theme.
The 350-hp V6 powers the Levante Modena trims, while the Modena S variant of the Ghibli or Levante comes with a 430hp V6. This V6 is also used in the Quattroporte Modena. However, the US-spec Modena models use a more powerful V6 while the Levante Modena S uses a 550-hp engine.
Modena S features the Nerissimo pack and red brakes calipers.
Trofeo
The Trofeo trim is just like the others. It features carbon fiber accents and 21-inch alloys. Red brake calipers are also featured. Sport seats in full-grain “Pieno Fiore”, natural leather.
Trofeo trims such as the Ghibli shown in the above images are powered by a twin-turbo V8 580-hp engine regardless of model.
