This is definitely not going to make you feel better.
We saw an McLaren 765LT being burned to the ground at a Pennsylvania gas station. Although it was quite a sight, another British model of the automaker has been destroyed in a fiery accident. It’s a McLaren, and it happened while I was filling up for fuel.
The orange 570S supercar was seen in a video uploaded to Royalty Exotic Cars. It was seen with a burned rear end at a gas station.
The rear view of the mid-engine supercar shows that the engine bay and rear wheels are almost completely gone.
The 570S is not well-documented. The open scissor doors indicate that both the passenger and driver were able to escape when things went wrong. The uploaded YouTube video title states that the driver is missing. However, the front end appears unharmed which indicates that the situation was managed before the fire destroyed the entire vehicle.
Whatever the reason, the British sports car was damaged. Although it is easy to conclude that the vehicle was in trouble, supercars don’t always burst into flames. There are many possible reasons for this. Based on the circumstances here, it appears that the incident occurred while the owner was filling up his fuel tank.
We are thankful that nobody was hurt in this incident. However, we know someone will suffer severe financial damage, whether it is the owner of the insurance or their bank account.
